Frontend
Interfaces in Vue and Nuxt, faithful to the design and fast
Since 2011 I have been turning graphic designs into working interfaces. Today I work mainly with Vue 3, Nuxt and TypeScript, and help agencies and software houses as a developer who takes care of the whole frontend, including the launch.
In short
- Frontend experience since 2011
- Vue 3, Nuxt, TypeScript and JavaScript
- Code that matches the Figma design
- Green PageSpeed scores
Who it is for
Frontend for agencies, software houses and product companies
Most often I work with agencies that already have a design and need someone to implement it accurately and on time. I also work directly with companies developing their own application, customer panel or web service that are looking for an experienced developer for the long term.
On every project I focus on three things: matching the design, performance, and code that another developer can understand without a lengthy onboarding.
- Agencies that need a subcontractor to implement a design
- Companies building an SPA or a customer panel
- Teams that want to rewrite an old frontend, e.g. jQuery, in Vue
- Websites that lack performance and good Core Web Vitals
What you get
A frontend with no surprises after launch
Faithful to the design
I reproduce the layout together with spacing, typography and element states, and clarify doubts with the designer before coding.
Performance
I optimise images, fonts and scripts so the site loads fast on mobile too and scores well in Core Web Vitals.
Readable code
I write components that are easy to extend and hand over to another team. I work with Git, consistent conventions and code review.
Scope
What I can do for you
Coding Figma designs
Responsive templates in HTML, SCSS and JavaScript, ready to be implemented in a CMS or an application.
Vue 3 and Nuxt applications
SPA and SSR applications, customer panels, configurators and booking systems with state management in Pinia.
API integration
Connecting the frontend to a REST API, handling authentication, forms, validation and error messages.
Legacy frontend migration
Rewriting code based on jQuery or older libraries in Vue, in stages and without interrupting the service.
Performance optimisation
A PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals audit followed by specific fixes to images, fonts, scripts and resource loading.
Accessibility and technical SEO
Semantic HTML, a correct heading structure, contrast and keyboard support so that everyone can use the site comfortably.
Technologies
How I work
Four stages that keep you always informed about where we are
Conversation
You tell me about the goal of the project and I ask about scope, deadlines and constraints. If something can be done in a simpler or cheaper way, I say so at this stage.
Quote and plan
You receive a quote broken down into stages and a schedule, so it is clear what you are paying for and when you will see results.
Development
I work in stages and show progress on a staging version, so you can give feedback along the way instead of only at the end.
Launch and support
I publish the project, check its performance and correct operation, and can stay on board afterwards as part of ongoing support.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do you work as a subcontractor for agencies?
Yes, it is a large part of my work. I can work under the agency's brand, in its tools and according to its process, and I invoice as a VAT-registered business.
Can you take over a project started by someone else?
Yes. I start by reviewing the code and assessing its condition, then suggest what is worth fixing right away and what can wait.
How much does it cost and how long does it take?
It depends on the number of views, interactions and integrations. After reviewing the project I prepare a quote broken down into stages, together with a schedule.
Do you only work with Vue?
Vue and Nuxt are my main tools, but I have also worked with React. If a project requires another technology, I will tell you honestly whether it is a good fit for me.
